The International School of Indiana is an independent school in Indianapolis, Indiana. ==History==
The mission of the International School of Indiana (ISI) is to excel in providing a multilingual and multicultural education through a distinctive, internationally acclaimed International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, preparing its students to contribute successfully to their communities. In 1994, a group of civic leaders saw a need to better prepare local students and the Indianapolis business community for the increasingly global cultural and economic systems they faced. In an effort to meet this need, they founded the International School of Indiana. One of only six like-minded international schools in the United States, ISI offers students from Indianapolis and beyond an integrated International Baccalaureate curriculum that is fully transferable to schools around the world. The ISI curriculum not only gives students a valuable credential, but also imparts the problem-solving skills they need to succeed in the 21st-century economy.
